Alea Tveit

Born in Nashville, TN, Alea Tveit (she/her) moved to Chattanooga in 2013, dedicating the last decade to social justice projects and community organizing in Chattanooga and central Appalachia. Finding a passion for community-led storytelling within the field of social justice, Alea worked for two years at PBS as a Community Engagement Manager, supporting participatory community filmmaking with an emphasis on youth-created projects. A lover of documentary film as a medium for social change, Alea joined the Bedrock team in 2022 to advance her work supporting community storytelling.
