Katie DeRoche

Katie started her film editing career in 2015 working on Composed, Bedrock's documentary feature about stage fright. Since then her editing and animation work has spanned everything from feature-length documentaries and animated films to commercials and talk show openers. Katie's projects have won awards at the Denver Film Festival, Palm Springs ShortFest, and Vimeo, and have been nominated for an Emmy.  Working with challenging topics like terminal illness, sexual assault, and racially motivated violence, Katie’s empathetic style of storytelling shows the heart that she puts into every one of her projects.
